Country Music's New Sweetheart
"My advice for other artists out there trying to make it in this industry is not to give up, always keep trying and understand that you have to believe in yourself. The truth is that operating in this industry is not all cupcakes and butterflies. Things are constantly changing and evolving, and you need to be able to change and evolve along with it without changing yourself. Remember to stay true to who you are, and if you have a support system, let them help you to stay grounded. ~ Heather Victorino
Every country music lover should keep an eye out for Heather Victorino, an up-and-coming singer and songwriter deemed by her growing fan-base as "Coungtry Music's New Sweetheart". Though Heather was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and lived here until the age of 3, she actually grew up in a small town in Virginia. Raised by a single mother with her sisters, Heather and her family are very close.
"Family means everything to me," says Victorino. "Besides the fact that I truly can't live without my music, I am also driven to succeed in order to create a better life for my mother and sisters," she continues.
Heather's singing career began at the tender age of 5-years-old when she won 1st place at a talent show after having sung Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love Of All". She started taking voice lessons after that, and has since continued to fervently chase her dream of becoming "Country Music's New Sweetheart!"
